BucketFeet exists to connect people through art. The flagship shoe is sold internationally and powered by a worldwide community.
After a serendipitous meeting in Argentina, co-founders Raaja Nemani and Aaron Firestein launched BucketFeet in Chicago, 2010 to distribute their artist inspired shoes globally. Until this point, Firestein has been selling these custom shoes offline and through Facebook.
BucketFeet partnered with Chicago based FarShore to build an e-commerce storefront to allow for online distribution and full administrative control.
FarShore developed BucketFeet’s e-commerce platform on Magento to allow for users around the world to purchase BucketFeet products. Over the past 5 years, FarShore has also supported infrastructure and administrative development to help scale BucketFeet’s growing business.
BucketFeet is now sold across the globe, working with a network of over 45,000 artists, and has a presence in large retailers such as Bloomingdales and Lord & Taylor. The Company raised over $13 million to support its global growth and in 2017 was acquired by Threadless.
